Kami

Kami is the Guardian of Earth, a Namekian who separated from King Piccolo to expel all evil from himself and ascend to godhood. This split made both halves weaker than the original Namekian's full power. Kami watched over Earth from his Lookout and created the Dragon Balls to benefit humanity. He later merged back with Piccolo — ending his existence as a separate entity — to restore their combined Namekian power and give Piccolo the strength to challenge the Androids.
