Staff Officer Black

Staff Officer Black served as Commander Red's second-in-command in the Red Ribbon Army, handling tactical and organizational operations while Red pursued the Dragon Balls. Upon discovering that Red's true wish was merely to grow taller — not to dominate the world as Black had believed — he assassinated his commander and declared himself the new leader, renaming himself Commander Black. His brief leadership ended when he was defeated by Goku in a battle suit, and the Red Ribbon Army's military ambitions died with him.
